Using the ALPR monitoring task, you can monitor hits from the ALPR
units in your system.
What you should know
To display hits, your Security Center system must have:
- At least one hotlist to monitor.
- Video units that are configured to trigger hit events.
Procedure
-
From the vertical navigation bar, click ALPR Monitoring.
The task opens, with the center pane displaying all hit events from across your
system.
-
Apply filters to refine which hits are displayed. Filters include:
- Hotlist
- The specific hotlists that you want to monitor.
- Priority
- The priority defined in the hotlist.
- ALPR unit
- The unit that was the source of the hit.
Note: Filters are only applied to new hits. Hits that occurred
before you apply filters remain in the list of events.
Also, filters are retained
when you leave the ALPR monitoring task or sign out of the
Genetec™ Web App.
-
(Optional) To display reads in the list of events, select the Include
reads check box.
-

the task.
-
To view details of a hit, click on the event in the center pane.
The right-hand pane displays details related to the vehicle and the
event.
-
(Optional) To clear a specific hit, click the Clear hit () button on the event in
the center pane.
-
(Optional) To clear all displayed hits displayed in the task, do the following:
