Triggering Mission Control incidents from the Incident monitoring task in the Genetec Web App

If an emerging situation doesn’t automatically trigger an incident, you can trigger it manually in the Incident monitoring task.

What you should know

Procedure

  1. In the Navigation menu, click Incident monitoring.
  2. Click Trigger incident.
  3. Under the Name field, select an incident type.
  4. From the Location list, select the area or entity where the incident is occurring.
  5. In the Comment field, enter a short description of the incident.
  6. Click Trigger.
    The incident is displayed in the list with the state New.
    Note:
    To view the incident, your administrator must add you as a recipient of the incident type.

Monitor, investigate, or resolve triggered incidents.
