About Genetec Web App

Genetec™ Web App is a web application that gives users access to Security Center from any computer with a supported web browser. Users can monitor system entities, investigate alarms and events, respond to incidents, generate reports, and more.
Click the Navigation menu in the top‑left corner of Web App to quickly
access tasks. You can also use the search box to find tasks. Genetec Web App includes the
following tasks:
- Maps
- Monitor entities, interact with video and events, and issue commands on a map.
- Tiles
- View live and playback video, and manage video and access control.
- Incident monitoring
- Monitor and respond to incidents in real time.
- ALPR monitoring
- Monitor ALPR hits across your system in real time.
- Access control
- Create and manage cardholders, visitors, credentials, groups, and access rules.
- Reports
- Search for and view events within a selected time range.Report types include:
- Alarms
- Alarms generated in your system
- Bookmarks
- Bookmarked video
- Camera events
- Camera-related events
- Door activities
- Access denied events and door status changes
- Hits
- License plate reads matching a hotlist
- Incidents
- Mission Control-related incidents

- All license plate reads

- Alert you in real time to system activity:
- Work requests
- Access the Work requests side pane to create, view, and update work requests.
- Threat levels
- Respond to emergencies by changing the state of the system or specific areas.
- Watchlist
- Monitor events from selected entities.
- Active alarms
- Monitor currently active alarms.
- Active incidents
- Monitor currently active incidents.
- Communications

- Voice and video calling enables you to make and receive calls from other Security Center operators.
- Make and receive calls from VoIP devices, and interact with cameras and entities related to an intercom unit.
